There are theories on how to teach children and there are researches on how children learn.
Based on my experiences in corporate training as a coach for S SIgma & ISO coupled with learning as a mother of 2, in my opinion the learning is best when
(a) children are engaged and experiencing
(b) kids are doing themselves & not being made to do
and (c) when they are enjoying the process
